JAMBO - KARIBU!! Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport, Afrikan Accent Adventures representatives will warmly meet you and welcome you to Kenya. We then transfer to our hotel, located in a serene environment away from the busy central business district; offering peace of heart and mind, a nice place to relax and unwind before you begin your safari. Nairobi is Kenya's principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. Nairobi means 'place of cool waters' in the Masai language. Our representative will help you through check-in and make sure you settled in well.

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Baringo
Leaving Nairobi in the early morning, we make a scenic drive to the west with a stop at the view point and later descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Baringo in the afternoon. This is a fresh water lake which supports a great variety of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles. Indeed the lake is reputed to be the bird- watching center of Kenya.
Day 3: Lake Baringo - Lake Nakuru National Park
Early in the morning we head south via Lake Bogoria which is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and also home to a sizeable number of flamingoes and other species of birds. The highlight, however, is the boiling hot springs and geysers which also contribute to the beauty of the lake. After lunch, we proceed to Lake Nakuru in the south - another shallow soda lake which has been described as "an ornithologist's paradise and one of the world's most magnificent sights". Here one has an opportunity to see up to two million flamingos besides tens of thousands of other birds if lucky. Lake Nakuru also has rhino sanctuary and also harbors lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo and many other animals. Overnight in a Campsite outside the Park.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve
This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest's migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve-one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Parks are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles.
Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy afternoon game viewing drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Be on the look-out for the famous big five; the most sought after in the early 20th century, when Kenya was a hunters' paradise. The vast savannah grasslands as far as the eye can see is home to the black-manned Lion, Cape Buffalo, the savannah Elephant, Black Rhino, the elusive Leopard, impalas, Maasai Giraffes, Waterbucks, Warthogs, Thompson & Grand Gazelles, Topis, the resident wildebeests among many others.
Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast means farewell take it by your host and the journey continues to the region of Lake Naivasha, where you will arrive in time for lunch. Strengthened by lunch it then continues with a game drive in the Park, which is sanctuary for Rothschild giraffes and leopards. The varied landscape includes marshes, meadows, rocky cliffs, Acacia forests and Rocky slopes, which are covered in particular on the eastern border of Euphorbia forests, which are among the largest in Africa. The catchment area of the Lake is bordered on the North by the Menengai crater, in the North East by the Bahati Hill, to the East by the lion Hill, to the South by the Eburu crater and the Mau escarpment in the West. The ecosystem has about 56 types of mammals including the white rhino, Buffalo and a variety of birds (nearly 450 species). Later in the afternoon, it goes back to the Lake Naivasha region.
Day 7: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park
After an early sumptuous breakfast depart to Amboseli National Park, which provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing volcanic mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of 'giant' elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts - lion, buffalo, Cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park is also an ornithological paradise with over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa. Arrive at your preferred choice of accommodation for check in and some delicious lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the 'big five' among other animals. Her breath-taking scenery - one of the best places for a photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro; weather permitting is next to none.
Day 8: Amboseli National Park
Full day spent in Amboseli National Park. Starting with an early morning game drive, return for breakfast in the hotel, thereafter the rest of the morning is at leisure. Enjoy lunch and some leisure time, before, later in the afternoon heading out for yet another game viewing drive on this majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of plains' game.
Day 9: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi
An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at you lodge. After breakfast check-out and bid goodbye to your lodge manager for hosting; not empty handed though. With us are photographs - a capture of the special moments we have had on this tour to immortalize the experience. Drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at the carnivore restaurant. After lunch you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport in time for you onward international flight.

Maasai Village Visit

You've seen pictures of them – adorned with the brilliant red, blue and purple patterns of the shukas they wear. The men with their spears, tall and proud. The women bejeweled with bright beaded earrings and scarves. These are the some of the oldest inhabitants of East Africa, the Maasai people.
